Connect your assistant and save your first task.
Little Mapper stores tasks, project updates and decisions that you can read from your connected assistants. You ask your assistant to read or update those records. Use the website to connect an assistant and manage your account.
Before you start
You need an assistant that supports a Little Mapper connection and an email address you can sign in with. Little Mapper is free to use. Your assistant may have its own subscription or workspace requirements.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the setup guide for your assistant.
Choose your assistant on the Connect page. Follow its instructions to add Little Mapper. If it asks for a server address, paste https://littlemapper.com/mcp. The address alone does not finish sign-in.
Sign in and approve the connection.
Use your Little Mapper email address. Check the account and company shown during setup. Use the same account and company whenever you connect another assistant.
Return to a chat and try a read request.
Enable Little Mapper in that chat if your assistant requires it. Ask what Little Mapper can do. It should return information about your company and available work. You can then save the practice task below.
Read the task back.
Ask for your private to-do list. Finding the task there confirms that it was saved. When you connect a second assistant, ask for the same list to check that both connections use the same account.

Replace the sample names, email addresses, links and dates before using a request. Copying a request leaves it on your clipboard. Paste it into your connected assistant when you are ready to run it.
Example 1Check the connection
Run this after you finish sign-in and return to your assistant.
Ask Little Mapper what it can do. Show which company I am connected to and one thing I can try.
- What should happen
- The assistant reads your Little Mapper setup and explains the features available to you. An empty account can have no projects or tasks yet.
- How to check
- Check the company name. If it belongs to a different account, correct the connection before saving work.
Example 2Save and find a practice task
This creates a private task that you can use to test another assistant.
In Little Mapper, add a private to-do called Check my Little Mapper setup. Then show my private to-do list.
- What should happen
- The list includes Check my Little Mapper setup. The task is stored in Little Mapper and belongs to you.
- How to check
- In another connected assistant, ask Little Mapper to show your private to-do list. Mark the practice task done when you finish checking.
Details to know
What carries between assistants
Saved tasks, project records, messages and decisions carry between connections. To preserve something from a conversation, ask your assistant to record it on the relevant work. The rest of your chat history stays in that assistant.
Opening the panel
Ask to open Little Mapper if you want to browse work in chat. Assistants that support interactive apps can show a panel. Other assistants can read and update the same records through chat responses.
Troubleshooting
The assistant gives a generic answer.
Ask it to read your Little Mapper account. Check that the connection is enabled in the current chat. If it cannot access Little Mapper, return to the Connect page and follow the guide for that assistant.
